Accommodation

To secure the accommodation of your choice, we recommend that you submit your registration with hotel booking as early as possible.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Grand Hotel (http://www.grand.is/) which is the conference site, and also at the nearby Hotel Cabin (http://www.hotelcabin.is/; to see the exact location and distance between hotel and conference venue click here). Conference rates are as follows.

A number of rooms in different categories have been pre-booked. Prices below are listed in Icelandic króna (ISK). To secure the accommodation of your choice, we recommend that you submit your registration with hotel booking as early as possible.

All hotel reservations, especially after February 10, will be subject to availability. Full hotel payment is required upon booking, but individual accommodation bookings will be refunded, if cancellations are made no less than 48 hours before the arrival date (working days).

Useful information: Breakfast and all taxes are included in all prices listed below. Breakfast is normally served at hotels between 07:00 to 10.00 every morning. The check-in and check-out times at hotels are mostly as follows: check-in time from 14:00 and check-out time from 12:00. However, please note that this can vary from one hotel to another.

Note: there are three locations in Reykjavik - the "Reykjavik City Hostel" (http://www.hostel.is/hostels/reykjavikcity) is the one nearest the Grand Hotel. It's also just a few minutes walk from Laugardalslaug, the largest swimming pool in the city.
• KEX Hostel (http://www.kexhostel.is/). KEX is located a bit nearer to the city center, and has a very popular bar/nightclub on site.
• Reykjavik Backpackers (http://www.reykjavikbackpackers.is/) is directly in the city center, located on Laugavegur, the main shopping and entertainment street in Reykjavik.
