Journal-to-Conference Track
We are excited to announce the launch of a pilot trial for the Journal-to-Conference track at AISTATS 2025.
For its pilot trial, the track considers published papers from the Annals of Statistics, Biometrika, the Journal of the American Statistical Association, the Journal of Machine Learning Research and the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B for a poster presentation at the upcoming AISTATS 2025 conference.
- Eligibility. Eligible papers must:
- Have been published no earlier than January 1st, 2023 in one of the following journals:
- Annals of Statistics
- Biometrika
- Journal of the American Statistical Association
- Journal of the Machine Learning Research
- Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B
- Not contain contributions that have already been published at a conference by the same authors. In other words, the journal paper cannot be an extension of a previous conference publication.
Provided that the track is successful, this list of eligible journals will likely be expanded in subsequent years to include additional journals whose topics are relevant for the AISTATS community.
For papers published in the Journal of Machine Learning Research only: Eligible papers must in addition not have already been presented at a prior edition of the NeurIPS/ICLR/ICML Journal-to-Conference track, as part of our efforts to coordinate with the NeurIPS/ICLR/ICML Journal-to-Conference track.
- Have been published no earlier than January 1st, 2023 in one of the following journals:
- Applying to the Journal-to-Conference track. Authors of an eligible
published paper must submit their request through the following form:
https://forms.gle/YgJsvk9PGoy9CUfA8
The deadline for receiving requests is 15 March 2025. The deadline is firm. No extensions will be provided. You will receive the decision by email before the early registration deadline for AISTATS 2025 (23 March 2025). Accepted posters will also be announced on AISTATS website Journal-to-Conference track page.
We will proceed on a first-come first-served basis, unless the number of submissions exceeds the capacity at the venue for AISTATS, in which case we will prioritize early-career authors, make sure to promote diversity and give preference to researchers that do not already have a paper accepted at AISTATS 2025.
