It is important to complete both Step 1 (filling out a form) and Step 2 (payment).
If any of these steps are missing, you are not considered as registered and will be required to complete it at the conference registration desk, subject to higher cost for on-site registration.

Please make sure either to pay with a credit card in your name or to provide the same Paypal e-mail address used in Step 1 when you fill the form during payment. If we cannot match your registration form and payment information, your registration is considered as incomplete.

Refund Policy
If you need to get refunded after registration, please send an email to aistats2017@gmail.com as soon as possible. We will refund certain ratio of your payment based on the table below, depending on when you request refund. Note that 3% of service charge forced by Paypal may not be refundable depending on your original payment method. Regardless of your original payment date, refund is not possible after Apr 5.

In case you need to apply for a visa to enter the United States for AISTATS 2017, please contact Karen Smith at aistats2017.logistics@gmail.com. Please put "AISTATS invitation letter" in the subject line of your email, with the following information in the contents:- Name (as it appears on your passport)
- Affiliation/Address
- Date of birth
- Place of Birth (City, Country)
Student Travel Awards
Travel support will be awarded to a limited number of student authors of accepted papers, based on merit and need.
To apply, please send an email to aistats2017@gmail.com with the following information:
- Student and advisor name
- Your CV
- Short support letter from advisor explaining merit and need
- List of accepted papers to AISTATS 2017
Application deadline: Mar 7, 2017
In order to know the number of travel awards, we will need to estimate the number of conference registrants. Therefore, students who applied for travel support are encouraged to register before Mar 7, 2017 to get an early-bird discount. If you are selected for travel award, your registration fee will be fully refunded.
